Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis spoke this evening with Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales and heir to the British throne.
The Prime Minister reaffirmed the invitation for Prince Charles to attend the celebrations that are going to take place on March 25, commemorating the 200th anniversary of the start of Greek Revolution, so as to honour Britain’s contribution to the fight for independence.
Prince Charles expressed his love for Greece and stressed the work of the charitable foundation Prince’s Trust International in our country. He replied positively to the invitation to come to Greece on March 25, pointing out however that his definitive answer will depend on the course of the pandemic.
