Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis participated today, along with other European leaders, in the teleconference organized by the President of the European Council Charles Michel, in order to discuss developments in Ukraine.
During the teleconference, participants pointed out the need for EU member states to coordinate and better prepare in case there is an escalation of the crisis. They stressed the need to maintain European unity and deploy all diplomatic means and channels of communication, in order to prevent escalation.
The leaders reiterated that any aggressive act by the side of Russia would induce serious consequences with a major cost and agreed to remain in contact.
