Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis had telephone conversations, this morning, with Ambassador Fragkiskos Kostellenos, who has been sent to Mariupol to reinforce the operation of the Greek Consulate General there and Consul General in Odessa Dimitris Dochtsis.

The Prime Minister thanked them for the services they offer under very difficult circumstances, in order to provide any possible assistance to the Greek citizens and the expatriates in Ukraine. It is noted that in Mariupol the Greek Consulate General is the only one that will remain open.

The Greek consular authorities in the two cities, in close cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on a daily basis, continue to offer their assistance to the Greek citizens, the expatriates and the journalists who are in the region.
