Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis welcomed today in Maximos Mansion the new US Ambassador to Greece George Tsunis, in their first official meeting.
During their conversation, they reaffirmed the exceptional level of the bilateral relations between Greece and the US, in view of the forthcoming visit of the Prime Minister to Washington.
The Prime Minister referred to the Greek origin of the new Ambassador. “I am very proud,” said Mr Tsunis, regarding his new duties. The new Ambassador also mentioned his father who always encouraged him not to forget his roots.
