Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis’ telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis had today a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson.

During the talks, the two leaders discussed the challenges ahead of next week’s NATO Summit in Madrid, at a crucial juncture in showing the unity of the Alliance regarding support to Ukraine.
The Prime Minister informed his British counterpart that Greece supports the European perspective of Ukraine and granting candidate status to Ukraine.

Mr Mitsotakis and Mr Johnson also agreed to meet in Madrid, on the sidelines of the NATO Summit, provided that their schedules allow them to do so.
