Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met this morning in Maximos Mansion with the Managing Director of the European Stability Mechanism (ESM) Klaus Regling. Mr Regling is paying his last visit to Greece with this capacity, as his term is completed on October 7.
During their meeting, they discussed the state of the European economy and the major challenges it faces especially in the fields of energy and inflation. They also pointed out the difficult situation all over Europe, as well as the significant performance of the Greek economy and its positive prospects.
The meeting was attended, from the Greek side, by the Minister of Finance Christos Staikouras, the Head of Council of Economic Advisors at the Ministry of Finance Michael Arghyrou, and the Special Secretary for Private Debt Management Marialena Athanasopoulou.
