Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met today, at Maximos Mansion, with US Senator Rick Scott, who represents the state of Florida.
During the meeting, they reviewed the excellent level of Greek-American relations, something that was confirmed during the recent visit of US Secretary of State Antony Blinken to Greece for the launch of the 4th Round of the Strategic Dialogue between Greece and the United States.
The Prime Minister underlined Greece’s role as a pillar of stability and peace in the wider region, as well as a gateway and provider of energy security for the Eastern Mediterranean and South-Eastern Europe.
They also discussed the progress regarding Greek-American defense cooperation and international and regional developments, focusing on developments in Ukraine and the situation in the Eastern Mediterranean.
