Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met with French President Emmanuel Macron on the sidelines of the International Humanitarian Conference for Gaza’s Civilian Population in Paris.
During the meeting, they discussed the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip and the need for humanitarian pauses, as well as the need to restore a continuous flow of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
The proposal to open a humanitarian sea corridor was also discussed, recognising the operational difficulties of the project.
The two leaders also engaged in an overall review of Greek-French relations.
