Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis participated today at the 4th Meeting of the European Political Community, in Oxfordshire, UK.
In the framework of the Meeting, the Prime Minister participated in the plenary sessions and in a roundtable discussion on “Defending and Securing Democracy”. After the completion of the proceedings, he attended the reception hosted by King Charles III in honour of the leaders.
In the margins of the proceedings, the Prime Minister had a brief meeting with his UK counterpart, Sir Keir Starmer.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis stressed the importance of Greek-British relations and expressed his satisfaction about the fact that the United Kingdom wants a productive relationship with the EU. The two leaders agreed to hold a bilateral meeting soon.
The Prime Minister also met with the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani. During the meeting, they discussed regional developments, while the Prime Minister reiterated Greece’s support for the European perspective of the Western Balkans.
