Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis’ participation at the 4th Cyprus-Greece-Jordan Summit

The trilateral cooperation and the prospects for joint initiatives of the Greece-Cyprus-Jordan trilateral format in a number of areas, with emphasis on civil protection, connectivity and energy, were discussed at a meeting between Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, President of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides and King Abdullah II of Jordan, in the framework of the 4th Cyprus-Greece-Jordan Summit in Nicosia.

During the Summit, the latest developments in the Middle East and the positive step of reaching a ceasefire in Lebanon for de-escalation in the wider region were discussed.

In the framework of the meeting, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the three countries signed the Memoranda of Understanding a) on Cooperation in the field of Water Resources, b) Cooperation in the field of Education for the years 2024-2027, and c) Cooperation between Enterprise Greece SA and counterparts (Invest Cyprus and Jordan Investment Commission) for the period 2024-2027.
