During their telephone conversation, they discussed the latest developments in the Middle East and the risks to regional stability and security.
The Prime Minister stressed the need to avoid further escalation and to restart talks between all parties involved.
Progress in the talks between Greece and Egypt on the issue of the Holy Monastery of Saint Catherine of Sinai was also discussed, as well as the need for an agreement to be reached soon.
