Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis participated in a teleconference of leaders with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, organized on the initiative of France.
During the teleconference, the leaders were briefed on the results of the meeting between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Furthermore, they exchanged views ahead of tomorrow’s meeting between Mr. Zelensky and Mr. Trump at the White House, which will also be attended by European leaders.
Greece remains steadfast in its long-standing positions on the need for an immediate ceasefire and the importance of security guarantees and US involvement in them. On issues of sovereignty and territorial integrity, only Ukraine can make decisions.
