Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis spoke about the prospects for the Greek economy, the government’s reform plans, and the achievement of objectives in a complex geopolitical environment at a meeting in New York with investors, representatives of asset management companies, insurance organizations and banks.
The Prime Minister stressed the importance of fiscal responsibility and reforms that enable the government to cut taxes and return dividends of growth to citizens.
The Prime Minister made special reference to the government’s energy policy, the infrastructure it is developing, and its role as an energy hub and provider of energy security in the region.
He also referred to the position of Greece and Europe in a fluid and uncertain international environment, emphasizing the need to strengthen European defense, but also the competitiveness of the EU.
He also made special reference to Greece’s potential to become an important investment destination in the health technology and AI sectors, as a particularly active ecosystem of Greek start-ups has already developed in these areas.
