Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis spoke about the important role Greece can play as a political, commercial, and energy bridge between India, the Gulf countries and Europe, and as a natural investment destination for the Gulf countries in Europe, at the meeting organized by the Atlantic Council and the Antenna Group on deepening cooperation between the EU and the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) in the context of the Alliance for Europe and the Middle East initiative, AEGGIS (Alliance for Europe-Gulf Geopolitics & Investments Summit).
The Prime Minister had an introductory meeting with the newly appointed US Ambassador to Athens, Kimberly Guilfoyle, who will be sworn in on Monday and is expected to arrive in Athens at the end of October.
