Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met with representatives of international and American Jewish organisations, including the World Jewish Congress and AIPAC, on the sidelines of the 80th Session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
During the meetings, international and regional developments were discussed, with emphasis on the situation in the Middle East and the latest developments in Ukraine.
The Prime Minister reiterated that Greece and Israel are strategic partners, but stressed that the war in Gaza cannot continue and the humanitarian situation must be addressed.
