Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis had a telephone conversation a short while ago with the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
During their telephone conversation, they discussed the latest developments in Iran and the wider Middle East region.
The Prime Minister expressed his solidarity with the United Arab Emirates and the Gulf countries.
He stressed the need for de-escalation and restraint, while pointing out the importance of protecting freedom of navigation and maritime security. Kyriakos Mitsotakis emphasized the need to reactivate communication channels for the cessation of hostilities as soon as possible.
