Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy before the start of the European Council in Brussels.
During their meeting, they discussed the latest developments in Ukraine.
The Prime Minister reiterated Greece’s steadfast support for Ukraine in confronting Russian aggression.
He stressed, however, that operations must not spread beyond the combat zone and made specific reference to the incident involving the Ukrainian drone in Lefkada.
Finally, the prospect of defense cooperation between Greece and Ukraine was discussed.
