In the context of his participation in the High-Level Week of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly in New York, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met with the Prime Minister of Canada Mark Carney.
During the meeting, the two leaders exchanged views on issues of bilateral and European interest.
Particular emphasis was placed on strengthening cooperation between Canada and the European Union in areas of shared priority, such as artificial intelligence, space, and energy, as well as in the context of Greece’s Presidency of the European Council during the second half of 2027.
